Case Example 1: 德慧促銷1本88折, 3本或以上8折

Type of discount: Discount triggered by quantity sold

To set up a Muin LS Central where customers get a 12% discount when they buy 1 item and a 20% discount when they buy 3 or more items for a special group of items (e.g. 德慧文化書籍)

Create a New Multibuy Discount:

    • Click the search icon, enter Multibuy Discount, and select the relevant link.
    • Click New and then fill in the discount information and then fill in the discount information as below

(1) No - The Multibuy Discount Card Number to be auto generate according to the number series setup in the "Store Card" for Head office (i.e. FT)

(2) Description - enter the description of the promotion.

(3) Price Group - select the price group for the indicate the promotion is apply to 

(4) Discount Type - select "Discount %"

(Note: Option including "Deal Price", "Discount %" and "Discount Amount")" 

(5) Validation Period - Select the Validation Period ID to define the start and end dates for the promotion

Note: you can setup the "Validation Period" in Validation Period Setup List or create new by click "New" to add a new validation period

(6) Specify the "Item" or "Item Group" which the discount applies

    • In the Lines FastTab, click New to add a new line 

(7) Select the "Type" specify the individual item or a group of items

    • In this case example, the discount to be apply to the item it included in the Special Group for "VWLINK"
      • Note: Options including Item, Product Group, Item Category or Special Group 

(8) Define Discount Level

    • In the Discount Lines FastTab, click New to add a new line 
    • Set the Minimum Quantity and the corresponding Discount Percentage
      • For example:
        • Minimum Quantity: 1, Discount Percentage: 12%
        • Minimum Quantity: 3, Discount Percentage: 20%

Check the offer

Click "Enable" action button for enable the offer

Note: the record is not allowed to edit it the status is "Enabled"


Price Check

Use price check function to check the discount for verify the setup

1) Enable the discount card

2) Select "Price Check" action button

3) Fill in the information for Price Check

    Case example for the item CO030 it included in the Special Group for the Multibuy discount 

(1) select the POS Terminal No

(2) enter the item number 

(3) enter the qty

(4) select the Price Group Code

(5) Click "Submit" Action Button

Note: click Clear function for rest the Price Check criteria

You can review the discount from the Price Check result return by system.   

(1) Price check result 1 - Item CO030 - 12% discount if buy 1 pc

(2) Price check result 2 - Item CO030 - 20% discount if by 4 pcs.
