1. Is there an introduction to the basic functions of m-In?

Please see Video playlist:

2. What is the "number of invoices/month" in the payment plan? How to calculate it?

The four types of documents are called "manifests", and they are "receipt", "invoice", "transfer order" and "inventory". "Number of manifests" refers to the upper limit of your plan to create one type of manifest per month. For example, the "free" plan can create 5 "invoices" of each type every month. Assuming that you have created 5 "invoices" this month and want to create the sixth one, the system will prompt you that you need Upgrade plan to continue. Or, you can wait for a while, and then create 5 more "receipts" next month.

3. How is the number of "mobile scanners" in the payment plan calculated?

This number is the total number of mobile devices in the selected plan that can connect to the m-In cloud server at the same time. Suppose the number of "mobile scanners" in the plan is "3", that is, 3 mobile devices can be connected to the server at the same time, and the message "Please upgrade the plan to connect" will appear when the fourth device is connected.

4. Some fields of the product are not displayed on the m-In "product" page, such as CBM, source of supply, how should I enter it?

For "source of supply", you can create it on the "supplier" page, and then select "supplier" on the "goods" page. For other fields, you can enter in the "Remarks" of the product (up to 200 characters).

5. How to change the inventory of goods?

You can use the web version or the mobile version to change the inventory of the goods. In the web version, you can create a "receipt", add goods to the manifest, set the quantity of goods to be received, and click "post" to add these quantities to the inventory. In addition, after you create a "receipt" on the web page, you can find this manifest on the mobile version. You can scan the barcode of the goods to increase the "received quantity". After clicking "save", the inventory of the goods will increase accordingly.

6. Does m-In support Unicode?

The input field of m-In supports UTF8 code. But please pay attention to the barcode format of your products. If you use Code128 and use Chinese characters as the product number, you cannot set the product number as the scan target because Code128 only applies to alphanumeric characters. You can use QR codes instead.

7. What does the item status "active" mean? What is the difference between setting the goods as "inactive" and "deleting" goods?

The status can be set to "active" or "inactive" on the product update page. In the goods selection list of goods receipt/delivery/transfer/counting, the system only displays the goods whose status is "active". In addition, the upper limit of the "number of items" in the payment plan only counts the activated items. "Inactive" goods still exist in the system, but when the goods are "deleted", the goods no longer exist in the system.

8. Is it possible to print labels in m-In?

m-In does not support label printing temporarily. You can use third-party label printing software (such as "ZebraDesigner Pro") to design label formats and perform label printing.

9. Does the mobile application support scanning barcodes using the phone lens??

Support. The mobile application can be installed on Android mobile devices with version 8.0 (Oreo) or above. After authorization, the camera can be used to scan barcodes in the application.
