When BBPOS cannot be connected, it may be possible that the IP has changed, follow the step below to change the setting for POS terminal

Step-by-step guide

  • Access remote desktop to HQ server
  • In remote desktop browser e.g. Chrome and choose the related Store

  1. Find the IP address in BBPOS under i / ? icon on the BBPOS machine
  2. In store server, search for "POS terminal" functions
  3. Select the terminal you want to update for connecting that BBPOS
  4. Under BBPOS section, update the follow:
    - BBPOS IP Address: the machine for VISA/Master/Alipay/Wechat/Octopus
    - BBPOS Octopus IP Address: the machine which specific for Octopus transaction, if it share the same machine as other tender, leave it blank
  5. The change to take effective immediately, no restart required
