To enable the "tab" function after scanning a barcode on a Honeywell device, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings App:

  2. Navigate to Honeywell Settings:

 


3. Configure the Internal Scanner:

 


(1) Check the check box "Wedge"

(2) "Wedge Method":  Keyboard

(3) "Suffix": 

if firmware updates that might add the "Postamble" option, then the steps for Set the Suffix to be replace by Set the Postamble.

Set the Postamble:

    • In the "Postamble" field, enter \t to add a tab after each scan.
    • Tap "OK" to save the changes.


Save and Exit:

These steps should configure your Honeywell device to automatically insert a tab after each barcode scan
