Item attributes can help on maintain an overview of your items and able to find the item by more detailed characteristics and it can assign to Item Categories.
When the item categories are assigned the item, related item attributes also applied to the item.
Setup Item Attributes
1, Use search function to find Item Attributes
2, Click New to add item attributes
3. enter the attribute information
Name - attribute name
Type - the data type of the item attributes value
4, Enter Item Attributes Values if the Type is Option
Assign Item Attribute to Item
1, Use search function to find Item
2, Open the Item card that you want to assign the attribute then select action Item => Attributes
3. Select item attribute and enter the value for the item
In the example below, the item attribute for Pants is Color, Inseam and Material Description
Click OK when complete the item attribute for the item
Search and filter item by attribute
1, Go to Item page
2, Select Attributes => Filter by Attributes
3, Select the attribute and the value that you want to find the item by the attribute then Click OK, item list to be filter by the attributes
4. Clear Attributes Filter after completing the filter
