Step-by-Step guide for use Configuration Package to update Exchange Rate

1. Click on the search button then enter Configuration Packages and then click the link to open the page

2, Select Package Update Exchange Rate, click the link to open the configuration package card

3. In action menu, select Table => Filters

4. Enter the last starting date (assume all last starting date are same for all currency) then close the page

*You can use the date format you currently use in BC

5. In action menu, select Excel => Export to Excel

6. Excel file with selected field and existing database record to be export.

NOTE:

(1) DON'T change the package information in Row 1

(2) DON'T change the table field name (i.e. column name) and the column sequence

7. Update the exchange rate in excel file

(1) Change the new start date 

(2) Enter the updated Relational Exch. Rate Amount 

(3) Copy the Relational Exchange Rate Amount to Relational Adjmt Exch Rate Amt 

*in general, if user enter the Relational Exch. Rate Amount, system will auto populate the Relational Adjmt. Exch. Rate Amount. 

However, if use Configuration Package function, system will not populate the value, so user need to update in excel for import the value, 

8. Save the excel file after updated

9. Go back to Configuration Package, Select Excel => Import from Excel

10. Click Choose... to select file for import

11.  Click Import to import the excel file

12.  Select “Functions” => “Apply Data” 

13. Review Currency Exchange Rate
