The Sales Quote card prompts the user to fill in key and remaining fields in the sales quote as needed. |
General Tab Fields | Details | No. | ystem does not automatically generate the sales quote based on settings. | Customer No. | Default value from the opportunity. Note that a customer is not required when creating an opportunity, but one must exist when creating a sales quote.

If recurring sales lines have been set up for the customer, the user can insert these lines into the order by selecting the "Get Recurring Sales Lines" action.
The user can choose the "Copy Document" action to copy data from an existing sales quote.
To copy a document, select the "Copy Document" action, then fill in the options and click "OK" to confirm.
- When printing the sales quote or document, the system defaults to archiving the document. If the user selects the preview action button, the system will not archive the document.
- If the user needs to update the quote with a new version, the user must archive the document before making changes to the quote. To archive the document, select the action, function, Archive Document.
