Copy Item vs Copy Item (CNA)
The different between "Copy Item" function and "Copy Item (CNA)" function.
- Copy Item (CNA) - customized function for CN Asia it developed before the BC standard function is launched.
- Copy Item - BC standard function it has been available since Feb 2022
- Both functions are used for copy item, however, standard function have option for allow user select the Item "Details" such as Reference Item, Item Unit or Measure etc are copy to the new item or not..
- Copy Item (CNA) - system will copy the item information directly w/o dialogues for allow user select option or no. series.
Step-by-Step guide for create similar item by use Copy Item function.
1 - Go to Item List and select the item that you want to copy, then select more...Actions => Functions => Copy Item
Or users can go to Item Card and click "Copy Item" from "Home"
2 - Enter the Target Item No. (e.g. the item number for the new item it copy from the source item, if no, will go as no. series setup)
-Choose the detail information needed to copy to the target item
