User can assign default dimension & dimension value for G/L account, Item, Customer , Vendor.

The dimension assigned will be auto-assign when creating Docuemnt / Journals.

Follow below steps:


1, E.g. Assigning Default Dimension to an Item.

Search "Item", click an item to be assigned.

2, Click "Dimension" in the Item Card

3, Click "New" to assign a new default dimension to this item.

Fill below information:

(1) Dimension Code (Setup, refer to Dimension)

(2) Dimension Value Code for this Dimension Code chosen

(3) Value Posting 

-Code Mandatory - Posting needs to have exactly the Dimension Value Code

-Same Code - Posting needs to have the Dimension Code, but can be with either one of the Dimension Value Code


*After assigned, creating Journal / Document with this item, will have the dimension auto-assigned.
