You can adjust inventory for a single item without create item journal.
Please note, the function only applicable for the item it does not have item tracking.
Step-by-step guide
1, Go to item list and then select the item you want to process the inventory adjustment
2, Page for Adjust Inventory to be prompted, in New Inventory column, enter the new inventory quantity for the location.
For example, if the Main warehouse inventory for the item is changed from 100 to 80, then change the value to 80 in New Inventory column and then click OK
3, Item Ledger Entries for the inventory adjustment to be created by system
For the case example above, the Negative Adjustment for -20 to be create by system. The document number for the item ledger entry to be same as the item no.
Alternative way for access the Adjust Inventory function
User can also click on the assist button next to the inventory field in item card to review the inventory by location or process the adjustment.
