Before this part, please follow Setup of Environment & Company for the correct company using.

Warehouse users can use handheld to enter quantity to be received and transfer the data to Business Central.

Follow below steps:


Description
1, BC users need to create a Purhcase Order (with Vendor, Item qty & price) & release the PO.

2, Click "PO Receipt"

3, Warehouse users can see the released PO by the search function

4, Click the item to count the amount received respectively

*Same procedure for other handheld(s), different handheld will not see each other's process

*The  button can change the item unit of measure (if any).

 is used for adding receipt amount based on the orginal entered. Enter the amount and press "+".

If done, click 

5, Click "Save". Data will be transfer to BC

6, Return to BC purchase order, click "Consolidate Handheld Count" in the Purhase Order Header

Message for consolidated sucessfully will be shown

Logic:

If "Qty to Receive" <=Outstanding Amount, "Qty to Invoice" will also be filled automatically.

If "Qty to Receive" > Outstanding Amount, "Qty to Invoice" will not be filled. 

"Qty to Receive" not = Outstanding Amount, will have error message warning and prevent users from posting.


Therefore, total of handhelds count must be equal to the oustanding amount for posting.

In line: "Handheld Count", user can see the handheld counting status.
