To install Lush translation, please following the instruction below

Step-by-step guide

Ensure the customer license can be export all objects otherwise upload the partnet license before process below process.

  1. Backup the DB and all objects
    Machine-wise
  2. Change Windows System "Non-Unicode" default to Chinese Simplified
    > Region > Administrative > Language for non-Unicode programs > Change system locale > Chinese (Simplified, China)
  3. Install the PLLP from software \executable\ folder
    \RTC\bin\debug\RTC.msi
    \Server\bin\debug\Server.msi
    \WebClient\bin\debug\WebClient.msi
  4. Restart the server
  5. Please delete the CHT and ENU folder from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\80\RoleTailored Client" if run the Development Environment return error.
    - Remove the Development Environment from Settings (Windows) > App > select NAV
    - Add the Development Environment back.
    Server instance-wise
  6. Import translation text file in NAV development environment, Tools > Translate > Import, select "Lush translate xxxx-xx-xx.txt"
    ** Some object maybe failed to import due to library and complication issue, refer to "LushNoImportable.txt" to exclude those object if those happen
  7. Import "PartnerTranalationTools" fob
  8. Run Page 58886 Partner Translation Tools
    - Press "New custom translation" with Public key token: 15e5b2499d4875c1
    - Add Language List record "CHS / Chinese (Simplified) / 2052"
    - Add Language List record "CHT / Chinese (Traditional) / 1028"
  9. Re-compile all objects, and force sync database, restart the server
