Warehouse users can use handheld to enter quantity to be received and transfer the data to Business Central.
Follow below steps:

1, BC users need to create a Purhcase Order (with Vendor, Item qty & price) & release the PO. | |
2, Click "PO Receipt" 3, Warehouse users can see the released PO by the search function 4, Click the item to count the amount received respectively *Same procedure for other handheld(s), different handheld will not see each other's process *The button can change the item unit of measure (if any). is used for adding receipt amount based on the orginal entered. Enter the amount and press "+". If done, click 5, Click "Save". Data will be transfer to BC | |
6, Return to BC purchase order, click "Consolidate Handheld Count" in the Purhase Order Header Message for consolidated sucessfully will be shown | |
Logic: If "Qty to Receive" <=Outstanding Amount, "Qty to Invoice" will also be filled automatically. If "Qty to Receive" > Outstanding Amount, "Qty to Invoice" will not be filled. "Qty to Receive" not = Outstanding Amount, will have error message warning and prevent users from posting. Therefore, total of handhelds count must be equal to the oustanding amount for posting. In line: "Handheld Count", user can see the handheld counting status. |
