This page introduce how to Create Opportunities, Record the Sales Cycle Process and how to create Job or Quotation from the Opportunity

1. Create Opportunities

Step 1 - Click [Opportunities] in navigation bar.


Note: if the link not included in navigation bar, click Search button then enter opportunities into search box, select Opportunities - Lists.

Step 2 - Click [New] to create new opportunities.

Step 3 – Enter Sales Opportunities information.

 Fill up the key information as mentioned in the table below:

Contact must create in Contact Card

Select Salesperson code if any

Default Normal, change if needs

Select Sales Cycle Code from the list

2. Record Sales Cycle Process

1 - Start Sales Cycle Process

Activate 1st stage - Select [Activate First Stage] in Action bar for start the sales cycle.  Sales Cycle Stages line to be create by system accordingly.

2 - Update Sales Cycle Process

I.           Update progress – Select [Update] in Action bar….

II.         Update Opportunity form to be prompted, select the action type and fill up the information. 

Remarks: Estimated sale value is required for update opportunity.

Action Type

Use the Action Type field to move the opportunity through the sales cycle stages:

  • Next moves the opportunity forward one stage.
  • Skip moves the opportunity forward one or several stages in the sales cycle, which you specify in the Presentation field. You can only skip stages that have been set up to allow skipping.
  • Previous moves the opportunity back one stage.
  • Jump moves the opportunity back one or several stages in the sales cycle, which you specify in the Presentation field.
  • Update enables you to change information (such as to modify your evaluation of their chances of success and estimated values) without moving to another stage

3. Create Sales Quote to Customer from Opportunity

Select Create Sales Quote from action bar


2Fill up Sales Quote information

Sales Quote to be prompted. Fill up the sales quote details.

4.  Create project schedule to customer when request

Step 1 - Select the [Drop Down] button in Job No. Field then click [+New]

Step 2 - Fill Up Job Card information

Job card to be prompted, fill up the Job information and add Job Tasks Line for the project schedule.

5. Close Opportunity

Select [Close] from action bar…


2Fill up the closing information

  • Opportunity Status – Option: Won / Lost
  • Close Opportunity Code – select from pre-define list.
  • Closing Date
