Sometimes there will be Invoices that cannot be posted. This is due to a checking imposed on payment import records.


Check unposted Sales Invoice

Go to Sales Invoice








The records on the list are outstanding invoices that are not auto posted.

Investigation on Invoice Amount

From the Sales Invoice List, we choose an Invoice to investigate. In this case, it is "SI0D00033" that is from the customer "Amazon (HG-CA)" which has an amount of 59.27.







Go to Payment Import Page.

Set the "No." to AMAZON (HG-CA).

Press the "No of Lines Imported" to open the payment import records.





Set the filter with "Order Date" on payment import records to match the "Posting Date" on the Sales Invoice













In order for Sales Invoice to post, we would check the "Amount" on Sales Invoice against the sum of "Net Amount" on the payment records. In this example, we find that the "Net Amount" on payment invoice is 0. This issue needs further investigation

Investigation on Payment Import Config.

Go to Payment Import Config.

After comparing the Excel Column mapping from the config, it is found that there are 3 columns that were wrongly mapped. This is the cause of the problem.

Correct the wrong documents, entries and import records.

Reverse Documents (Posted Sales Credit Memo)

Go to Payment Import record of the platform.




Click the "No. of Lines Imported" to review all the import result.










Check the "Sales Documents Type" as "Credit Memo" and lookup "Created Document No." in "Posted Sales Credit Memos".





Go to "Posted Sales Credit Memos"






Filter related documents and open to check the detail for reverse. For example filter "Sell-to Customer No. "
In these records, zero amount documents can leave it. No necessary to reverse.







Check Posted Sales Credit Memo detail and prepare data input at Sales Invoice.
- Posting Date
- Document Date
- External Document
- Line amount










Go to "Sales Invoice".








Create a "New" Sales Invoice.






Input Posted Sales Credit Memo to highlighted fields.


























Click "Yes" to update the exchange rate.






After post the "Sales Invoice" the amount will be Reversed.

Reverse Documents (Sales Invoice)

Check the Invoice was created and not post yet.

Use filter "Order" can list out all the records.












In this case, Sales Invoice "SI20D00032" to "SI20D00061".












Use keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+A" to select the records to Reversed.

Or click Assist button and "Select More" to select the records.
























After Reversed, system will prompt up the message box. Please click "OK" to close it.









The Created data will change blank. 

Reverse Documents (Cash Receipt Journal)

Go to "Cash Receipt Journal".





Use Assist button and "Delete Line" to reversed "Gen. Journal Document Type" is "Payment" in Payment Import records list.

Reimport

Check the import configure mapping and rename the file name before import the files again.

- Use Assist button and "Select More" to select the records.

Or use keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+A" to select the records.

- Click "Mark as Read" to archived records.
