User can use the Detail Trial Balance report to print General Ledger that shows Opening Balance, Detail Entries and Closing Balance.
You can find Detail Trail Balance report under Chart of Accounts > Report > Detail Trial Balance.
There are a few options and filters user may apply to the report.
(1) Options:
- New Page per G/L Account
Each G/L account will start in a new page - Exclude G/L Accounts that have a Balance Only
Report will only show G/L accounts that have transaction during the period - Include Closing Entries within the Period
Closing Entries will be included. Closing entries are the entries generated when Close Income Statement for year end closing, these are the entries that close Profit & Loss G/L Accounts to Retained Earnings. - Include Reversed Entries
The report will show reversed entries. - Print Corrections Only
The report will only show those entries that have been reversed and their matching correcting entries.
(2) G/L Account related info
(3) Filter totals by, usually Date Filter: E.g. 2024-01-01..2024-12-31 will have the report showing 2024-01-01's opening balance, 2024's all entries and 2024-12-31's closing balance.
Click "Preview" or "Print" directly for printing.
