User can create similar item by use Copy Item Function.
1 - Go to Item List and select the item that you want to copy, then select more...Actions => Functions => Copy Item
2 - Enter the Target Item No. (e.g. the item number for the new item it copy from the source item
Choose the detail information it need to copy to the target item if any
