About Blanket Sales Order
- Blanket Sales Order can use for a long-term agreement between you and your customer.
- It can handle one item with multiple shipments at predetermined quantities, price and delivery dates.
- The different between Blanket Sales Order and Sales Order is quantity in blanket order will not affect item availability for forecasting and planning purposes.
- Sperate shipment can be setup as blanket sales order line and then converted into sales order at the time of shipping
Step-by-step guide
1, Use Search function to find Blanket Sales Order then click New
2, Fill up customer name remaining fields in General tab as necessary.
3, Enter Lines

No | Enter Item No. or select from item list if the Type is Item |
Description | Item Description default from item cards, user can edit the description in the quotation line. |
Quantity | Enter the quantity for the item |
Unit of Measure Code | Unit of Measure default from Item Card Sales Unit. |
Unit Price Excl. VAT | Unit Price for the item |
| Shipment Date | Enter the shipment date that agreed with customer |
4. Release the sales quote when the information is completed and ready to send to customer for confirm.
