Sales Order: Stock-out Process (BC & Scanner)

4, Confirmation of Stock Out:

(1) Click mInventory in the handheld scanner, and "Sales Order' on the left

(2) Choose the SO No. that has been released in BC
Or
To use the handheld scanner to scan that item barcode / SO document number

(3) Click the document for shipment, click the item & enter the received amount. 

The  button can change the item unit of measure (if any).

 is used for adding shipment amount based on the orginal entered. Enter the amount and press "+".

If done, click 

(4) Click "Save" and the shipping process will be finished

(5) "Quantiy Shipped" in Sales Order Line will change according to the amount shipped in handheld.

"Posted Sales Shipment" is automatically created.

5,  If the item has "Item Tracking Code" in setup, a Lot / Serial No / expiration date is required to finish the shipping process.

System will jump into "Lot/Serial No." or "Expiry date" and ask user to assign. The amount may have already filled by the finance user if they have assigned the Lot/serial No. already.

If users want to adjust the Lot.No assigned (depends on the business scenario):

(1) Click the existing Lot number, assign the amount

(2) Click "Add" to add another Lot / Serial No, enter the amount for this Lot / Serial 

(3) User will see the Lot number with how many unit assigned. If finsihed, then click "Back"

(4) Click "Save" to post the shipment

*The Shipment will be posted and related adjustment will be updated to the Sales Item Tracking Line.
