Follow below steps to handle Stock-Take process.

1, Search "Physical Inventory Journal" in Business Central 2, Create the stock-take batch | |
3, User can delete all calculated inventory previously in the batch. (if any) Then click "Calculate Inventory", system will show the screen to define the filter to calculate. (1) Posting date: Date of inventory-in User can define any item no., Location or bin codes etc in the "ITEM", in order to choose a certain range for counting. (if filter, will show all existing item) Click "OK", the system will start the calculations based on the filter. | |
4, When the Inventory amount for each existing Item has been shown, click "Export to handheld" that those record will be exported to the handheld page. *Item No with different location will be shown in different rows. | |
5, Click "Phy. Inv" from the menu and select the Phy.Inv. Journal Batch for Stock-Take 6, Start counting the item, system will ask user if they would like to scan / count by filling the amount. *User can click "Qty" / "LOC/BIN" to view item in different location. 7, After finishing and confirmed the amount counted, click "SAVE" | |
8, Return to Business Central, click "Import Handheld Count" for the counting results. *After that, users can click "Handheld Count" to look at the counting status for each handheld | |
*After posting, delete all the line in Physical Inventory Journal for the next handheld Stock-Take. User can click export to handheld with blank line so warehouse user will not have the record in handheld for adjustment anymore. |
